Click area no response????

Hello all,

 

I don't really know how to explain it but when I updated my CC apps, some areas that you're supposed to click are shifted .... ?????? I don't know if that makes sense...

I mean, imagine you want to click away this internet window, but when you click the [x] nothing happens BUT when you click under it or somewhere near, it does... ? As if the area that is supposed to click, shifted somewhere else????????????????

Man... I hope this makes sense to someone.

 

It's really annoying cause I can't click away some features like the Pathfinder and I can't move it either.... I cant seem to find the "click area" I only really noticed it on Illustrator tho. When I made a new document I wanted to click on one of the tabs but I had to click under a word for it to work.

 

Help?

PS 2018 Open Image hangs

In the latest version of Photoshop, I can open an image from Bridge into Camera Raw and perform edits as normal. However, if I then click the Open Image button in Camera Raw to open the image in Photoshop, the program hangs. In Task Manager, I can see that the program is running around levels of 28% of CPU. I cannot minimise PS, nor close it. The only way I can get out of it is to cancel the program in Task Manager.

 

I can open the image through Lightroom into PS.

 

I never had this problem in any earlier versions of PS.

Hello,

 

I have a query which I searched on internet a lot, but didn't find the answer.

 

What type of Post script file is this (Attached here in this link)

I see different software produces different type of Ps, of which I found this type to be most small in Size

 

 

How can I convert my existing PDF file to such type of PS  ?

 

Is there any software application or Code to create such PS from PDF Programatically  ?

Inactive buttons when testing with fade

Im using animate cc

I have created a new layer and made a rectangle box fade out to reveal my phone but when I test the fade works but the buttons on my phone are not clickable (inactive) I have tried different snippets and in different parts of the code but it does not solve the problem. Can anyone help?

not all pages are readable

every other page appears to be blank. i have downloaded an ebook onto adobe digital additions and i can not see the content on every other page. when i highlight the non-existent content there appears to be textboxes but no words. i have an exam on tuesday and this is the textbook i need to study. please help asap

Can't reactivate my Illustrator CS3 - same problem others have experienced, still no solution?

Hi!
I have now lost all access to my Adobe Illustrator CS3, which I bought (as a private person, i.e. not a business), before Creative Cloud was an option.
It was an expensive product, and despite being quite an old version, still meets my hobby/design needs, so it's very disappointing that it is now obsolete.  

According to all forum info, and everything else I've researched and tried (including speaking to support several times), I should have been able to install a version which doesn't need activating. As instructed, I uninstalled everything on my PC that was Adobe-related, got the new serial number, and tried installing several times - but still no joy.
Support ended up saying that they couldn't help, so is that it?? I have no option but to pay monthly for something I use a couple of times a year?

Lightroom Mobile Photos Gone

Today I went to check my Lightroom Mobile photos synced to the Adobe cloud but couldn't get the Mac app to connect (it continuously said "waiting for connection"). I went to my iPad to check the photos from there and it told me I had no collections. I went over to my iPhone's LR Mobile app and when it first opened, all of my collections were there. Then it went to a loading screen and when it came back it said I had no collections. I had hundreds of pictures synced to the cloud so this is both incredibly frustrating and terrifying. Is this just a connection issue or did all of my photos some how get deleted?

ファイルの保存でjpegで指定して画像を保存した際に画像が全体的に青みが強くなって見づらくなってしまうのでどうにかできないかと思い質問させていただきました。

pngで保存したらそのような事にはなりません。

How to set up automatic backups in InDesign

Does anyone know how to set an automatic back to InDesign? Yes, I'm aware that there are tons of general backups available and can always "save as" to make copies. However in a team enviroment where many people work on InDesign files, we need a more robust backup solution specifically for InDesign. Coming from Quark, there was an automatic backup available at set intervals. Running: InDesign CC 2014.

 

I came across a script which seems to do just that but appears to have been written for Apple Script as oppose to Java Script. Perhaps someone can translate that into Javascript. Using a windows platform, Apple Script obviously won't work. The script is as follows:

LR Causing Hard Crash on iMac High Sierra

Lightroom Classic CC keeps causing HARD crashes on my iMac.  Using LR 7.1 and latest High Sierra.  Took the iMac to Apple to check system and they found nothing wrong with hard drive, etc. 

 

When I attempt to proportionally crop an image (shift+option+drag), or to move to edit in Photoshop (cmd+E), the entire system just slams off.  Black screen.  No power.  No warning.  Have to unplug and let it sit for 30 seconds before rebooting.  It's maddening.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the Adobe programs and have the same issue.  Could it be bad catalogs?  So frustrating.  HELP!!!

Need help with "You have been signed out, unable to authenticate" problem, thoughts?

Been working for two days on trying to get my laptop back working with Creative Cloud.  Cannot sign in as it is in a loop with the message you've been signed out and unable to authenticate....chat with support and they were of zero benefit.  Told me the could not access the credentials file and call back in 5 hours....well I tried back and of course they are closed for the weekend......

 

I have tried every option I have found on the net and none of them work...I can nor uninstall as it says the files are in use.....I can not delete the oobe file because they are in use, Adobe Creative cloud cleaner does not work....it asks for language and then does nothing......

 

Frustrated that I had to buy ON1 to process the RAW files from a Sony AR7III.....

 

Can anyone help and not just send me back through the meaningless loop

How to multiply a slide design?

I customized a standard multiple-choice-slide and would like to have all future multiple-choice-slides look the same. If I just duplicate it the design and the box-size are all over the place. Can I somehow change the standard template? Is there a way to duplicate them more accurate? Thanks for your help. I´m on the newest version of Captivate btw. I will add a screenshot of the simple slide design I tried to copy to test this.Unbenannt.PNG

I have finished a hour long video and now I am ready to burn to a DVD to be able to watch on TV.  I have burned several times and it will play fine on my computer after burning, but will not play on my DVD player.  I have tried several players and its not the players.  What am I doing wrong?

 

I go to Export and share and hit disc.  A message pops up that states "some of the menus items are overlapping! Please move or resize them.  I just close that box, and moved on.  I don't know if that would affect the burn or not.  I click on SD 576, the largest resolution and click on disc, not IOS image and then burn.

 

So, where am I going wrong?  It won't play on my player?  HELP!!!!!

Downloading DS5.5 Design Premium

I purchased this back in 2012, however have changed to a new laptop.

 

I have downloaded the Design Premium to install and tried off both Safari and Chrome however when I try to install the application it says "Install cant be opened. You should eject the disk image" , however ejecting then quits the whole thing.

 

How can I go about resolving this issue?

Page Load Rule firing on Domain that was not selected

We are having an issue with a Page Load Rule, in which is firing on domains that are not selected in the rule criteria. We have a single domain selected, but it is firing on another domain. As an example, we have a Page Load Rule that has the domain criteria set for "mysite.com" only, but when we debug the rules and look at the reports we see the rule is also firing for "site.com". 

 

Though we have a specific domain selected in the rule criteria, any ideas why the rule isn't applying it for only that domain?

Suspected malware attack - error 0xc0000022

I have had 5-10 users come to me with printing problems in the last several days.  Each seems to have clicked on a blank PDF attachment in email which looked like a legitimate sender.  We use McAfee Endpoint Security.  Scans were run and malware was removed.

 

After that, all the users see the xc22 error as noted in the subject.  None can print.  I have resorted to installing a competitors product as a workaround.

The error message presents itself multiple times.  Viewing is OK.

 

The users run Windows 7 Pro and Windows 10 Pro.  Each was running the latest version of Adobe reader.  Even back versioning the product did not help.

 

What is the remedy?

refresh strategy errors in log AEM 6.3

Hi,

 

I am seeing following errors in log (AEM 6.3)

  • org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.jcr.session.RefreshStrategy This session has been idle for 4 minutes and might be out of date. Consider using a fresh session or explicitly refresh the session.
  • java.lang.Exception: The session was created here:

 

Can any one tell me, why i am getting these session idle , refresh strategy errors in logs and how to resolve this issue?

AE Mocha is importing footage and displays as a black screen

Mocha AE CC 2018 - Windows 10 System

 

 

 

I can imagine this issue has been around millions of times; however I am encountering it with no fix.

 

Previously I worked on a mac where I used AE 2017 CC. When I tried to track a file via AE Mocha the link information seemed to always be damaged. Installed quicktimes and it was magically fixed.

 

Now that I have migrated over to a more powerful PC; I logged into my adobe cloud which has upgraded me to AE 2018 and same issue. After revisiting my previous fix, I installed quicktimes Essentials due to the security risk etc. Now I am able to open the file and scrub through the timeline; however it only appears as a black image. I have tried importing the footage as an image sequences, as a DNx HD 8bit file, I tried converting the footage as an avi, mp4 and so on and still only shows as a black screen.

 

I also re-installed AE and it still occurs. When I uninstall Quicktimes the file path seems to be damaged and when I re-installed it allows me to import the footage again but does not display.

 

Perhaps you can help.

Problem with box border format with Word doc. PDF conversion does not produce the boxes. This same doc file when converted last August did produce the boxes. Now it does not.

Problem with box border format with Word doc.  PDF conversion does not produce the boxes.  This same doc file when converted last August did produce the boxes.  Now it does not.  Has something changed in the cloud program for doing conversions from doc to pdf???  These are boxed produced using Format / Borders and Shading, then clicking on "Box" or "Shadow".
