Crackling audio/sound whilst streaming

I too have been have crackiling audio whilst streaming.  I uninstalled latest flashplayer and installed version 10.3.183.29 and still the same problem.  However, I have noticed that whilst streaming a video if I click onto another internet tab, say check my email while movie still playing, the sound is playing perfectly!!!!!! When I click back onto the movie tab, sound has crackling again.  I closed down all other tabs, but sadly this did not work...it is the same whether using google chrome or IE9.

Please help, it is the same on my other computer so it must be a flashplayer thing...
