How to read PDFs from Dropbox on iOS?
I have created a pdf using acrobat dc then add it to my dropbox. When I try to open it from Dropbox app on iPad it just comes up with a "get Adobe Reader Now"
I have tried this but still am not able then open/find the pdf file. I used to use X then open in IBooks - this has worked well for years - any suggestions

Photoshop CC2019 just stops working on Windows 10
I'm having an issue with my Photoshop CC2019 just failing to respond. I'm running Windows 10 with plenty of memory and a decent I7 processor. The video is a dedicated solution, not a built in.
My CPU usage usually around 20% with 39% memory usage when the hangup occurs. If I just sit and wait it goes away. This has only been a problem with the last 3 updates/versions of Photoshop CC. The computer was golden before and never had an issue with any stutters.
Efficiency is at 100% at all times and I shut down programs like Bridge and Capture One so nothing big is running in the background.
The Nvidia 970M driver is up to date. All windows updates are installed.
Any help would be appreciated.

Error AdobeCollabSync.exe with Acrobat Reader DC 19.010.20069
Hello,
I have a problem with Adobe Reader DC 19.010.20069 including Adobe PDF Pack on a Windows 2012R2 RDS server.
When a user open a PDF, Adobe reader connect to my account and i get this error message few seconds after Adobe Reader is connected to my account :
this error message open three times and i'm forced to close it and the PDF works again...
Can you give me a solution ?

SD card footage only looks good when viewed on TV through camcorder, nowhere else
Hello all,
Hope this is in the right forum for this post.
I have recently purchased a Sony 4K camcorder (FDR-AX700).
To go with it, I purchased 2 x SD cards (SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I Card, 256GB, Speed up to 95 MB/s 633X). When put in the camera, I was prompted to format them which I did.
I have shot footage both in 4K and HD.
I have viewed this footage on my 4K TV by directly connecting the camcorder to the TV (via a HDMI cable). The picture looks great and I am very happy with it.
However.... (there's always a however ) this seems to be the only way where the footage looks this good.
When I downloaded the clips to my PC (using the cable provided, and using Sony memories which is the software with the camera) and played the clips back, the clips deteriorate in quality. Not massively but more than enough for it to be noticed. This is especially prevalent with movement. Its no-where near as smooth. Also, I think the colours are not quite as vivid.
I assumed this was just down to PCs not playing clips as well as a dedicated 4K TV. So, I put it the clips through premiere pro, outputted it matching the source settings, and viewed that on the 4K TV via an external hard drive that I use. The clips look exactly the same as they did on the PC (i.e. not as good).
Again, I wondered whether it was just down to a combination of the clips naturally not looking so great on a PC, and also maybe the quality dropping somehow by putting it through premiere pro (though never had that issue before)
So, in trying to isolate the problem, I have taken the SD card out of the camcorder. My 4K TV has its own slot for SD cards so I can play the clips back directly onto the TV. But, when doing this, the quality is exactly the same as the PC and the outputted footage (not as good). This seems to be the same whether its shot in HD or 4K.
So, it looks as if the clips look great when played on the TV through the camcorder, but when the SD card is played elsewhere, the quality diminishes. So, maybe the camcorder does something when playing the clips back (compresses it somehow) that it doesn't do elsewhere. Or maybe I have not got good enough cards.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I think the camera itself is absolutely fine, but I just can’t figure out why the clips on the SD card (which are digital) would lose any quality when played elsewhere

AME exporting blank content
I finished up a project in after effects and sent it to media encoder to save as h.264. After it was done i clicked the file to watch it and it’s a 3:00 long black video and no audio. I’ve tried different setrings (QuickTime etc) I’ve tried creating new projects, deleting cache, resetting preferences, uninstall and reinstalling, adding a solid layer under everything and nothing works. If I save the project as QuickTime directly from AE it works though. Also while rendering in AME I can see the video and effects in the preview box. The only other trick I’ve come across is to dl a older version but I can’t find an option to do so!

Pen tool automatically switches to the cursor / hand tool
When first using the pen tool on a document, the pen tool is automatically switched to the cursor/panning tool. On subsequent markups this doesn't happen. This wastes time every time I mark up a new drawing in Adobe Acrobat DC Adobe Reader DC.
Steps to reproduce bug:
1. Select the pen tool under Comments
2. Use the pen tool on the PDF
3. Watch as the pen tool is automatically deselected and the cursor/pan tool is now active
4. Re-select the pen tool
5. Use the pen tool on the PDF
6. Watch as the pen tool is no longer automatically deselected, and you're able to make multiple markups at a time, for now..
7. Open a new PDF document
8. Select the pen tool again.
9. Use the pen tool on the PDF
10. Watch as the pen tool is automatically deselected and the cursor/pan tool is now active
Results: Pen tool is automatically deselected and cursor/pan tool is selected, preventing a second markup.
Expected results:Pen tool should remain selected until OPERATOR decides to select a different tool.

Is there a way to create a fixed size TAB (or anything else)?
Hi!
We need some help/advise on a school book we are working.
The book have some exercises where children need to write in some line fields (see image below). Instead of using the standard underline glyph to create that line, i'm using TAB space. Than I created a GREP do replace the TAB (empty) space for a thinner line that makes writing easier.
I have two questions:
1. Is there a way to make these tab space on a specific size (or sizes)?
2. Does anyone have another idea?

Limit for HTTP request via JS activity on workflow
Hi All,
I am trying to call an external API service through JS activity HTTP request (There is no limitation on calls imposed by the external application).
Through a workflow, it seems I am unable to make more than approx 1000 requests.
Is anyone aware of an Adobe Campaign limitation that allows only 1000 HTTP API requests in a session?
If so, is there a workaround as this seems a very low threshold.
I'm using Adobe Camapaign Classic v6.1.1

How to compare multiple colors to one another
Hi,
Im currently writing a script for Photoshop in Extendscript. Now Im trying to figure out, how to compare colors to each other. I've mostly tried to stick to wikipedias article about comparing colors and using a weighed eucledian algorithm to get a distance which indicates their difference. Comparing 2 colors is no problem with that.
But in my script I have 3 Inputs (Most common color, second most common color, and the third most common color). Now if I want to compare this to their aquivalent part, lets say I have a Main_tile with their 3 Inputs and a Tile_file with 3 Inputs, I can compare (Common to common, second common to second common..), which seems to work fine.
My question is what happens if my Tile_file has only 1 Input, how do I compare it to the Main_tile?
Example: 3 Main, 1 Tile color given. I could pick the most common main color only and compare most common to most common but this number would always be lower than comparing 3x3 colors to one another, so I would pick the lowest number, hence the lowest color difference, which is not really what I want. Any ideas on this topic?
I tried to make everything clear, but if theres something unclear just tell me!

Hi when I go to fill and sign a document I am trying to edit, it automatically closes on me and I have to start over, which also automatically closes leaving me unable to fill and sign any form. Any fixes to this issue?

Getting a field autofilled based on dates
Hello,
I have been trying to find a solution to the below issue for the last 3 days.
I am creating a form. My skill level is beginner.
I am using Adobe Pro DC.
The form in question has a date filed calendar. User can also enter their own date (YYYY-MM-DD) or chose a date on the pop-up calendar.
I have an other field which will contain a value (based on the date).
If the date entered is between April 1, 2018 and March 31, 2019, the field will display "2018-19"
If the date entered is between April 1, 2019 and March 31, 2020, the field will display "2019-20".
ex: user enters the following date:
Result:
PR (is autogenerated based on the type of ticket - This is already working, I do not need assistance here)
12345 (ticket number will be manually entered by the operator - I will probably just add an additional text field.)

Segments to apply to month 0 in cohort reports (Analysis Workspace)
When applying a segment to a cohort report the criteria applies to the entire report timeframe, not just the period in which the cohrot was created. This is a little confusing.
For example say I create a segment with the timeframe last 12 months and the granularity is month. Then I apply a segment with a hits bucket 'hits where page = xxxxxx'. This would generate a report showing all the visitors who viewed the page in month 0, but who then viewed the same page in months 1-11. However, in many cases this is not the kind of insight which is required. It would be better if the criteria 'viewed page x' was for month 0 only and then track the cohort of visitors who return and view any content in months 1-11.
There is a workaround to the current implementation by creating segments with date criteria (e,.g. create a segment where page x was viewed in month x (the cohort creation month) and apply this to the report. However, i don;t feel this is user friendly.
Hence, my idea is to create a button on the cohort report where allows a user to easily switch between whether a segment applies to month 0 or to the entire report time frame.
'Set to month 0 'could be the default logic if most users of Analysis Workspace prefer this as the default option. Perhaps Adobe could track which options users prefer and set the default setting based on this insight.

Keyboard shortcuts for VEC
Issue: Customer is trying to make change to contextual menu that only comes up on hover. When she moves off of the menu to change back from Browse to Compose the menu disappears.
Feature: The customer woudl like a way to go into Compose mode based on keyboard shortcuts lets say CTRL+E this would enable her to go into Compose mode while the menu is activated by the mouse.

Ability to Manually Type Click Goal Selectors
Need to be able to set our own click event selectors (or to override the visual editor ones) as we may want less-specific selectors than the visual editor forces us into, or to type in selectors on elements that aren't easily clickable in the visual editor.
For example: tracking clicks on all classes of ".xyz" rather than "div.1 > div.2 > div.xyz"

Audio UnSynced
I just upgraded to Adobe CC and I'm having a problem with the audio being off by 15 fps after I import the files. I'm using a Panasonic AGDVC90A which uses AVCHD (MTS) files. The operating system I'm using is Windows 8.1. I have tried several things to try and fix this issue: importing the entire folder from the hard drive, converting the files to another format, no luck. Please help.

Is there a way to set a .txt file to different variables in AppleScript?
What I'm looking to do is load a text file on my desktop into an AppleScript and each line would be a new variable.
Like this:
45678.jpg
spaceship.tif
bookName.tif
etc.
Then those variables would be
set varName1 to 45678l.jpg
set varName2 to spaceship.tif
set varName3 to bookName.tif

Creative cloud syncing some files
Hi!
I’ve recently acquired a pc and downloaded creative cloud. Though I mainly work from a macbook I’ve been wanting to work on my pc on an InDesign file. I packaged it and placed it in the Creative Cloud synced folder, however when I open the file on my pc many of the linked images are nowhere to be found. I’ve tried relinlinking, but it seems as if some of the images never synced. I’ve tried uploadingg everything again, but it still doesn’t work. Please HELP me! Ps. Some of the images synced, other did not.
