Petty Cash Form
Hi all,
I'm trying to create a petty cash form for my company. I'm trying to create a fillable table with formulas that sum and protect the sections that need to be filled in.
Is this possible with Adobe Acrobat DC? Is it possible with any other Adobe version?
I've googled this and it seems there is a table from the menu option, but not from the version that I have access to.
Please help!

Import specific Variable Definitions | Adobe FrameMaker
Is it possible to import specific variable definitions from one Adobe FrameMaker file into another?
Example: I have the following variable definitions in "fileOne.fm":
- Item 1
- Item 2
- Item 3
- Item 4
I want to import variable definitions Item 2 and Item 3 into "fileTwo.fm".
If I do File -> Import -> Formats -> Variable Definitions ("fileOne.fm" selected), I will import Item 1, Item 2, Item 3 and Item 4. However, I do not need Item 1 and Item 4, as they shall have their own variable definitions. I need only Item 2 and Item 3.
P.S. I am using Adobe FrameMaker 2015.

Best Way to Create a Preset Browser Dialog
I'm updating my plugin to make browsing for presets easier. I can either do this as a dropdown menu in the effect itself (easy), or more preferably as a modal dialog box that will show thumbnails of the presets in a tabbed layout. Nothing too complicated, but much more visual than the dropdown method.
Forgive my naive question, but what's the best way to go about making one of these for an effect plugin? I'm thinking something like the attached:
I think I have a couple of options:
1) Use the IDE's built in dialog box editor to make one in C++, however this will require two separate pieces of code as I'll need to build for Mac and PC
2) Use an ExtendScript window run it using AEGP_ExecuteScript.
The second option suits me better as I have experience in writing script panels.
My data would be self-contained - i.e. the number of presets would be fixed with each release of the plugin, and the images static.
Does anyone have any wisdom they can impart, including the best place to store the images (I usually encode PNGs into a binary string I can include in the Javascript code so it's all one big text file)? How do you make your preset browsers or equivalent dialogs?

How do I Drag and Drop Multiple Movie Clips in Separate Layers?
I'm trying to make a simple dress-up game. Most of the items like shirts and pants will be made up of two separate movie clips on two different layers and can be dragged together as one object with separate layer priorities (Ex. The front of the shirt will be the top layer, the doll - that will be wearing the shirt - will be in the middle, and the back part of the shirt will be below the doll layer, so when you drag them together, it will look like the doll is wearing the shirt).
I'm trying to find Actionscript code for Adobe Animate where when you drag the front part of the shirt, the back part will be attached and drag along with it, while being on individual layers. They can't be on the same layer, or else it won't look right.

Black Screen (source and preview) when using GPU acceleration (CUDA) [NVidia GTX 780M]
Hi guys!
I am running Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 on Windows 7 (Ult) on a machine equipped with NVidia GTX 780M (4 GB VRAM) graphics card. The source and the preview monitors are both black if I select GPU accelerated rendering. There is a yellow bar above the timeline clips, I can hear the sound tracks, but there is no image. If I choose the Software Only rendering (CPU) then I do see the image as well, but the real-time playback and rendering times are awful!
At first, the application would not allow me to use the GPU acceleration using NVidia’s CUDA processing. Once I entered my video card name in the “cuda_supported_cards.txt” file in the Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 folder I was able to choose between Mercury Playback Engine Software Only and Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration CUDA.
I tried downgrading the video card driver to the previous stable version and reinstall Pr – no go. How do I make Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 work with my NVidia GTX 780M video card?
Your insight is appreciated!
P.S. I used to work on a different machine equipped with NVidia GTX 670M card (which is also missing from the officially supported Pr CS6 cards list) and I never had any issues of this nature with that laptop.

Were can I get the Muse CC 2018 installer?
I need to install Muse on a new computer but it is not listed in the Adobe CC app list. I know they will not be supporting Muse any longer, but I still need to have it in both of my computers because I have many ongoing projects from before Adobe went full bully on us. Can anyone help me out? Thx

aerender script
What I'm currently doing.
Using the new JSON feature I update my data using a JSON file, using aerender this works fine. The only flaw is that it runs awfully slow rendering it out.
What I can do.
if I open After Effects then launching a script I have built. I can change the data using a similar method as above but it's hard changing the data so that it's not treating it like a valueattime. This reduces the render time dramatically.
What I want to do.
I want AfterEffects to launch and then launch my script, update the data then export. Using similar bash info and what I've found trawling forums, the below is what I've come up with but it's not working. It's launches after effects successfully which leads me to believe it doesn't either like my script (Which works if I use manually), or my bash file isn't written correctly. This is more what I'm inclined to think. Unless someone says NOT A CHANCE CAN THIS BE DONE.

PDF form placeholder text is gray and becomes black when I type in the box on computer screen and it works well but it remains gray on mobile screen
I have a PDF form in which some text boxes are placeholders and remain gray until I type something in it then it changes into black text on computer screen which is perfect and this is what I need but when I type in the boxes in on mobile screen the gray color remains gray. It doesnt change into black. Please help.

Installing Photoshop CS6 from DVD NOT WORKING
Hi,
My old HD crumbled – I managed to unlicensed PS6 beforehand.
When I try and install from the DVD on the new PC with the valid licence key it says “This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try another.”
The key on the back on the square PS6 product and what I am typing in are one and the same. Unimpressed!
What’s the fix?

photo's uploaded to android LR not showing on win 10 LR cc
Hi I've just come back off a holiday, I created a folder for the holiday and created a daily album daily within the folder using my android phone. Now i'm back home I have found that two albums have no photos in at all and at least two are not showing all the photos. I have tried looking at all photo's and they don't appear there either. Any ideas whats happening?

Cant see Camera profile option in Calibration
Have just downloaded the classic CC version and wanting to switch to camera standard profile under the camera calibration menu.
All I can select is the 'process' section, can't see an option to change camera profile.
Last LR version I used was 5, unsure if this has changed since then?
Any help appreciated.

Split a multi-paged document based on content and using data from the PDF in the file name
Hello,
I'am user of Acrobat Pro 9 with Track PDF Content Splitter in the past.
Now has the IT department replaces my Acrobat Pro 9 with Acrobat DC.
A joy .... but my PDF Content Splitter is gone.
I looked in this forum for a solution and found a few posts with similar questions. Some need Javascripting etc.
But, I'am a nitwit in this field.... :-( ... so can anybody help me with a solution?
Case example
My document ontains 50 pages.
On the page there is a debtor number.
Often every page has a debtornumber, sometimes it takes an extra page to get to the next one.
I would like to split the document in 50 pages (or less incase the reminder consist of 2 pages) with a name like:
Fixed text + " " + debtor number + debtor name + Fixed text
Can somebody help me with this?

Fill In PDF field length
This may be a ColdFusion question, but I'll start here.
I am trying to do a mail merge using CF <cfpdfform tag.
I have a query with 100 records that loops through the PDF with these form fields.
My query loops through and adds/inserts the query values to each PDF and creates 100 pdf's with the filled in values.
Because i don't need to worry about the length of any of these values, It works great.
But here is where I have my issue
When the query value is within a sentence I don't know how large to make the text field on my blank fill in PDF
When the city name is Ida the field needs to be a certain width and when the city name is Oklahoma City it needs to be a much larger width..
Is there a way to deal with this?
ShouldI be using a different way to merge query data with these PDFs?

Multi-Track Color Match
I know how to use the new PP Color Match in the Lumetri panel when the clips are on the same track. But how can I use Color Match if the clips are not on the same track. This occurs when I use multiple cameras to record the same event. For instance, if I record a 1 hour event and put one camera on track one and the other camera on track two (and I will later do a multi-cam edit), I would like be able to use Color Match to match the color of the two tracks. Today my work around is to put a portion of track two on the end of track one, do the color match and then delete the little clip from track two that I temporarily put on track one. This is cumbersome and time consuming. Can this be done with Color Match without having put the clips (temporarily) on the same track?

What is the standard review process you follow?
We have HTML 5 output. We are using RH-17
The process we follow:
We author in RH and then generate PDF and send for review. We incorporate changes in the RH and again generate PDF for review and validation.
RoboHelp Server is expensive for us.
We want to get rid of this.
Any option available?
