About 6 months ago I upgrades to PSE 10. Sortly after that I submitted a product update "request" asking for PSE to provide the ability to set preferences for how the user interface appears, something similar to what is done with Photoshop CS6 and other Adobe products. With PSE 10 I found the choice of grey to make viewing some information a bit more difficult than it should be. I also generally prefer to view an image against a really dark background. I received an e-mail a few days ago asking me to try out PSE 11 to see if the user interface was any better. I've download and installed the trial version. Some changes have been made that make the information in the Organizer window a little easier to read. I think the font for the Folders panel has been improved, and it looks like the spacing on the Tags panels moves text lines a bit farther apart enhancing readability. However, I have not found any preferences or a clickable button that will let me change the color scheme, not even the ability to change the shades of grey. I would like a darker background when I view an image full size in the viewing window. I find the light grey (Folders and Tags panels) that surrounds the main window to be a bit distracting and the whole interface looks just a little bit "clunky." I'm running on a Windows 7 PC with all updates installed.
