I just heard the news that Adobe is allowing you to download CS2 for free. I would like to take advantage of this for my home, but I need a new laptop since mine died a few months ago (I currently have CS5, FrameMaker 10, and Acrobat Professional X at work on a desktop running Win7 Professional 32-bit).
Since I would like CS2 and FM8 installed on the same system along with Acrobat Professional, what are some of the specs I should be looking for in a laptop? I am a writer - not much of a graphics person, but my current position has pushed me into the realm more and more, so I would be creating smaller documents, and editing photos from my little Canon camera. I can't imagine I would be doing anything too hardcore, but I just want to make sure the laptop has all the necessary hardware to support all this software.
I'm open to any brand of laptop too - even if it is a Mac
I appreciate the help and advice!
