I have been using Audition CS6 to do pre-recorded radio production work, I have been using Audition for about 18 months and while I don't have a lot of multi-track expertise (other than using it to create programs), I do know my way around the waveform area pretty well.
When I opened CS6 this morning to begin my daily work I received the " previous session unexpectedly terminated" warning, and I chose to recover the session. The session opened up o.k., and I began editing a vocal track I had been working on. I immediately received a warning something like "Audition is having trouble writing to your hard drive, we suggest you save your work and restart Audition".
I complied and saved my work and restarted Audition, but when I restarted Audition and opened the track I had just been working on, I found that Audition had taken the last 2 seconds of the audio track and repeated it for the entire track.....basically I now have 13 minutes of "Have a nice day" repeated over and over. I am ever so thankful that I had just backed up all of my work.
I am not going to spend a lot of time worrying about this one instance, but am interested to know if anyone else has experienced anything like it?
Thanks,
Lee
