Needing some help . . . bought a Nikon D800E recently which required updating to LR 4, which required purchasing a new computer, etc. So, I am now running Dell Workstation with Windows 7 (16gig ram, 750 gig hard drive), LR 4.3, Eizo ColorEdge CG243W monitor and using Epson Exhibition Fiber paper with their SP4880_EFP_PK_2880.icc profile.
When softproofing there are no out of gamut warnings; yet, on printing colors are significantly altered and moved to purples rather than magentas, hints of purple rather than blue, etc. I have tried all manner of combinations of ICM choices (currrently using input choice of ProPhoto and the printer profile listed above). On the printer color management choice i have used "managed by printer" and the exhibition fiber profile as well. Nothing seems to alter the results and yet there must be something wrong with the choices I am making . . . that, or i do not understand why the soft proofing would not show out of gamut.
Thank you in advance for the help.
