I upload a file to the cloud with acrobat pro XI, but cannot access the file on creative.adobe.com

Hi,

I have begun using the creative cloud file storage, however I'm having a problem. When I upload a file on creative.adobe.com the file is available there and I can download it from the webpage, but when I try to open a file from inside acrobat pro XI using the open from adobe.com button with the same creative cloud account it cannot see the file. It also happens the other way, if I upload a file through acrobat pro the file is there and available to be openned inside acrobat but if I go on the webpage creative.adobe.com the file is nowhere to be seen. It's like there is some kind of exclusivity with the files so it is only available to access via the method it was uploaded. This is quite annoying because I'm hoping to use it mostly to upload PDFs (straight from acrobat to save time) so when I travel I can access my files, but I have no guarantee the computers I use at the other end will have the latest versions of acrobat on, so would need to be able to access them on creative.adobe.com.

 

I have checked that I am using the same creative cloud account for both. Have I missed something completely obvious?
