Adobe - can you make some starter pages that resemble websites that a graphic designer might start from?
I have been using your products since the 1980s, but I can't get a grip on the new Dreamweaver. I previously built sites using grids for desktops, stying everything in fireworks, flash, etc, all defunct! I have been using InDesign since you created it. That's how I do all of my layouts, not using photoshop. Photoshop isn't nearly as good for type and layout, yet Dreamweaver favors photoshop for layouts?! Can InDesign work better with Dreamweaver?
The new Dreamweaver too difficult to modify, and the manuals don't cover the basics about each element, how to style the starter pages, etc. There are vast chunks about how things work missing. I bought the Classroom in a book (2019 version) and was flabbergasted by the design that was used as an example. At the very end of the book, I needed the book to begin. There is virtually nothing on styling Bootstrap, and what was there in the 'extras' pdf section was ridiculously hard to use.
With the web enticing ALL of us to go to Wix, SquareSpace, etc. - would you consider giving us some modern, sleek templates that can be easily styled?
For example:
-a nav bar (or 5) that a designer would style (pre-styled nav bars that people could drag and drop with perhaps a simple color change)
-"small business" starter pages that contains: simple sleek nav bar, simple containers for the body, etc. and a small footer
Many of us designers are working with very small micro businesses and the templates miss the mark.
It seems the new Dreamweaver is squeezing out graphic designers. I never used Muse but it seems that would have been much better, but I fear using it since you're discontinuing it.
Is it WIX to the rescue or will Dreamweaver give us the goods?
