Upper layers partially disappear when lower layers are oriented

I have several layers of a website - each of which have 3D turned on and which were oriented to provide some perspective. I've noticed that when the layers are oriented, they tend to intersect each other - so I see some of one layer and some of another layer. I've also placed an animated graphic of a cursor on top of all the layers. When I reposition the cusor - and it moves into an area of the graphic below - it disappears.

It seems like there's a diagonal line running down the graphic and when images in layers above intersect with that area - they somehow diappear behing the oriented image below.

How can I prevent this from happening?

I was going to insert an image - but when I click the camera icon - all I get is a big grey box that says 'Insert Image' - but no way to select the image I want to insert. Very strange!
