I have been scanning pages into photoshop, saving these photos without any embedding, and putting them on a USB key to another computer. I have then been importing them into L4 and exporting them again.
The goal is to add these JPEGs into pre-made Acrobat reader PDFs, at the same size as the PDF pages. Acrobat properties list the width and height of its pages in inches, and I have been exporting the photos from L4 to these same measurements.
In the export window I have under: 'File Settings'Image Settings: JPEG, Quality 75, colour space AdobeRBG (1998), and under 'Image Sizing', I have resize to fit: Width & Height, inches, then whatever the measurements are and the resolution at 300 pixels per inch.
The problem is that when exported these photos consistently have the correct width but the incorrect height - they always end up a few decimal points too short. I have adjusted every setting and simply cannot figure out why this is.
HELP!
